Our Story

Villa Musica is a music school run by sisters Penny and Lucy Adeney, inspired by the world-renowned educational philosophy of violin teacher and humanitarian Shinichi Suzuki. Established in 2000 in Melbourne, Australia, we have been at our current purpose-built premises at 1 Patterson Rd Bentleigh since 2017.

The Music Cottage truly brings Dr. Suzuki's philosophy alive and real for young musicians and their families. Lucy and Penny Adeney and their team of music teachers are passionate, dedicated and bring an unbelievable amount of enthusiasm to their programmes.
