Music for Little Ones
A collection of well loved nursery rhymes and children's songs.
-
The musical arrangements on this album have been very carefully designed to cater for young children at every developmental stage. The simplicity and clarity of the arrangements avoid overwhelming young ears. Language skills in older babies and toddlers are encouraged with a very clear vocal line for the children to sing along with as their vocabulary develops. The soprano voice is at the correct pitch for children of this age to imitate. The musical understanding of older toddlers and preschoolers is promoted through simple harmonic structures, the use of ostinati and a variety of meters and tonalities.

Lullabies for Little Ones
Gentle songs and lullabies from around the world.
-
Since the beginning of time, parents have sung lullabies to calm the little ones in their lives. On this recording, we have brought together some of the best loved lullabies from around the world and added some beautiful, lesser known ones. Babies are born with very sensitive hearing, and every track on this album has been recorded with the needs of the newborn at heart. The musical arrangements have also been carefully designed to encourage the older babies’ listening skills and to capture the musical imaginations of toddlers and preschoolers. We recommend playing this album while putting your child to bed at night.

Four Little Engines
A compilation of some of our favourite songs for children.
-
Parents and children will enjoy singing and dancing to the music, ‘joining in’ with improvised kitchen utensil musical instruments and inventing actions for the songs. Teachers will welcome the pedagogical value of simple rounds, straightforward ostinati and uncomplicated harmonies and accompaniments. Listeners of all ages will appreciate and benefit from hearing real instruments played well, including piano (not electronic), quality tuned percussion instruments, pizzicato violin and viola, and guitar. We hope you enjoy Four Little Engines!
